Job Purpose (Accountability)

•  Maintain, operate and perform preventive maintenance on Company owned GSE in accordance with Manufacturers. Instructions, Company Instructions, under the supervision of the GSE crew chief , diagnoses malfunctions and repairs. Ground Support Equipment (GSE), advises and trains lower grade workers on diagnosis and repair of less complex. Repair/maintenance problems, inspects and approves completed maintenance actions, solves repair problems by studying drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics, and technical publications; uses automated maintenance data  systems to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, maintain equipment records, and document maintenance actions.

Duties / Responsibilities

1.Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on GSE, inspects, tests, and operates GSE in order to determine and maintain equipment serviceability and proper operation, services equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, and compressed air, diagnoses mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test equipment, and technical publications.

2. Maintains, operates and performs preventive maintenance on Company owned GSE in accordance with  Manufacturers Instructions, Company Instructions and the published maintenance schedule for this equipment.

3.Disassembles and assembles malfunctioning GSE accessories and components, removes, disassembles repairs, cleans,treats for corrosion, assembles, and reinstalls GSE  in accordance with technical publications, stores, handles, labels, uses, and disposes of hazardous materials and components and accessories, stencils and marks GSE waste in accordance with all state, local, and environmental standards and regulations.

4.Determines exact nature and extent of repairs required and performs major and minor overhaul on all systems makes operational checks and adjustments as required and in addition to maintaining vehicle records, maintains and updates other paper and electronic equipment records, and provides dispatch service for GSE.

5.Must comply with established General and Industrial Safety Rules and Regulations as applicable to the contract facilities and job assignment, in order to prevent any incident to company property and personal health. 

6.Responsible for adhering to all applicable Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules and regulations and maintain cleanliness of the work center and around your assigned work area.

7.Carry out all concerned duties regarding Quality, Safety & Security required by the company.

Other Qualification

1. Work will require stooping; climbing; prolonged standing; prolonged sitting;and working with or in areas where apotential could exist exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents.

2.Work is generally conducted in a shop environment. However, duties may involve the conduct of work in the out-of-doors area with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions.

3. Be able to travel out of main base.

4.Ground support equipment skills  if available or equivalent. 

5.Minimum  TOEIC  SCORE   350.

6.Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language.
