Job Purpose (Accountability)
- Perform inspection, repair, modification and overhaul of aircraft Brake and Wheels Assembly and other relate components under capability to ensure that they meet the requirements of manufacturer and local authority requirement in a timely manner and in a cost-effective way to sufficient support aircraft in operation.
Duties / Responsibilities
1. Perform inspection, repair, modification and overhaul of aircraft Brake and Wheels Assembly and related components under approved capability to ensure that they meet the requirements of manufacturer and CAAT in a timely manner and in a cost-effective way to support aircraft smooth and safe operation. Overhaul modification and repair of the Aircraft Carbon and Steel Brake Assemblies following the Original Equipment Manufacturer Maintenance Manuals and/or Maintenance Orders (MO.) issued by the Engineering Division.
2. Overhaul modification and repair of the Aircraft Nose and Main Wheels Hub Assemblies following the Original Equipment Manufacturer Maintenance Manuals and/or Maintenance Orders (MO.) issued by the Engineering Division.
3. Read and Understand Work Instructions, Component Maintenance Manuals (C.M.M.), Operating Procedures.
4. Review work order and task cards to ensure full fill all data requirement and record, document, signing close work order and task cards, Completes reports by entering required information into computer and/ or paper.
5. Ensure and maintain all the tooling and equipment in serviceable, cleanliness and calibration.
6. Maintain the workshop minimum stock requirement in tooling and advice to purchaser in parts may require for work shop.
7. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, and workstations neat; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
8. Carry out all concerned duties regarding Quality, Safety & Security required by company.
