Job Purpose (Accountability)
Preparing, supporting and assist pilot-in-command with a flight preparation (route planning, alternate selection, required fuel calculation and briefing) and in-flight progress monitoring by supporting information or related informations (such as weather condition, NOTAMs, Navigation aids let down or airport status) that may influence a safety, efficiency and economical of the flight
Duties / Responsibilities
1. Authorize, regulate and control both commercial and non-commercial flights according to government and company regulations to expedite and ensure safety of flight.
2. Responsible for economics, passenger’s safety and operational control of day to day flight operations.
3. Analyze and evaluate meteorological information to determine potential hazards to safety of flight and to select the most desirable and economic route of flight.
4. Compute the amount of fuel required for the safe completion of flight according to type of aircraft, distance of flight, maintenance limitations, weather conditions and minimum fuel requirements prescribed by company’s regulations and concerned.
5. Plan all flights maximizing payload available through efficient planning and use of fuel (fuel tankering, cost index), weather information, ATC requirements etc., and to obtain the optimum route for every flight.
6. Prepare the operational flight plan containing information such as maximum allowable takeoff and landing weights, weather forecast and reports, field conditions, NOTAMs and many other informational components required for the safe completion of flight.
7. Prepare and sign the dispatch release which is the legal document providing authorization for a flight to depart.
8. Monitor weather conditions, aircraft position reports, aeronautical navigation charts and aircraft radio calls to evaluate the progress and safety of the flight.
9. Advise the pilots in command of significant changes to weather or the flight plan and recommends changes as required for the continued safe operation of the flight.
10. Assist the pilot in command of an aircraft with an emergency situation by providing any assistance necessary to ensure safe completion of the flight.
11. Review and revises, as required, of the Operational Flight Plan for all scheduled and non-scheduled flights in keeping with safety and regulatory requirement.
12. Co-ordinate with maintenance on aircraft conditions, discrepancies and any change to schedule.
13. Co-ordinate with the concerned units to perform a smooth flight operations task.
14. Perform an accident/Incident emergency response procedures as outlined in the manual.
15. Check and revises the various publications which will be used for the flight dispatch purpose.
16. Check all working equipment, communications and IT system within the workplace in a functional service.
17. Carry out all concerned duties regarding Quality, Safety and Security required by the company.

Work Experience
TOEIC
Minimum 550 score or above
License
Having a Flight Operations Officer (FOO) license is an advantage.
Certificate
FOO/ATC certificate or Bachelor's degree
FOO Couse as per ICAO defined in Doc7192-AN/857 Part D-3
Other Qualification
Ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment.
