Job Description: 

Job Purpose

Supports the planning, coordination, and quality monitoring of in-flight meal services. This entry-level role assists in ensuring meals meet basic safety, dietary, and presentation standards, while learning to align with brand and operational requirements.

Duties / Responsibilities

  1. Assist in menu documentation and updates based on seasonal and operational needs.
  2. Support coordination with catering vendors for meal provisioning and delivery.
  3. Help monitor food quality and presentation during inspections and onboard checks.
  4. Assist in managing special meal requests and ensuring proper labeling.
  5. Participate in data collection for passenger feedback and meal performance.
  6. Support sustainability efforts through packaging and waste tracking.
  7. Help verify catering invoices and maintain cost records.
  8. Assist in analyzing and preparing the annual budget requisition for passenger meals, operational costs, and training expenses across domestic and international routes.
  9. Follow up on quotations, menu grids, and specifications from domestic and international caterers, verifying compliance with the meal concept.
  10. Attend meal presentations to coordinate with caterers and ensure alignment with approved standards.
  11. Collect and update meal-related data (pricing, menu cycle, route assignments) for recordkeeping and internal analysis.
  12. Prepare documentation for food and beverage budget codes and assist in stock control activities.
  13. Follow up and record preventive and corrective action plans for meal service improvements.

Education

Bachelor Degree in Related Fields

Work Experience

Minimum 1 years experience

  1. Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  2. Interest in menu planning and product development.
  3. Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Awareness of how taste and aroma may change at altitude.
  5. Basic knowledge of HACCP and cold chain handling.
  6. Understanding of dietary needs and special meal types.
  7. Interest in sustainable food practices and packaging.
  8. Curiosity about culinary trends and passenger preferences.

TOEIC

Minimum 550 score or above.
