Accountability
- Responsible for developing and implementing the company’s decarbonization roadmap, monitoring emissions performance, coordinating compliance with schemes such as CORSIA, EU ETS, and Thai Regulations, and driving initiatives toward Net Zero and Carbon Neutral targets through collaboration with internal teams and external authorities.
- Serves as the central focal point for managing the organization’s carbon strategy and ensuring compliance with international and national aviation environmental regulations.
Duties / Responsibilities
Strategy Implementation & Planning
1. Support and implement the organization’s Carbon Management Strategy and Decarbonization Roadmap to ensure alignment with Net Zero and ESG objectives.
2. Assist in the development of long-term sustainability plans and monitor progress against established milestones. Work with Environmental Sustainability Section
Technical Analysis & Regulatory Compliance
3. Research and evaluate new technologies and practices to help decarbonize, such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and operational efficiency measures, to improve emission reduction.
4. Monitor and interpret concerned legal, regulatory, and policy developments (ICAO, IATA, CAAT, Eu, etc.) and assess their impact on aviation operations.
5. Supervise the tracking and reporting of compliance performance under national and international schemes (e.g., CORSIA, EU ETS, Thai laws).
Data Management & Reporting
6. Oversee the collection, verification, and analysis of fuel consumption and emissions data in collaboration with Flight Operations.
7. Supervise the preparation of emission reports and ensure timely, accurate data submission to regulatory bodies.
8. Direct the development of internal dashboards and data visualization tools for transparent management tracking.
9. Study trends, opportunities for emission reduction, and performance against annual targets.
10. Provide policy briefs and recommendations for management decision-making.
Coordination & Representation
11. Act as the CORSIA Focal Point, coordinating directly with CAAT and ICAO for regulatory compliance.
12. Liaise with government authorities, regulators, and international organizations on carbon-related matters.
13. Represent the company in technical working groups or sustainability forums to stay updated on industry standards.
Operational Leadership & Advisory
14. Execute and supervise carbon offset initiatives, including carbon credit forecasting, trading, and verification processes.
15. Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments on SAF investment projects and high-quality offset programs.
Carbon Offsetting & Sustainability Projects
16. Supervise carbon offset activities, including tracking carbon credit inventory, forecasting, and coordinating the verification process.
17. Work with relevant departments and suppliers on SAF-related data and high-quality offset project documentation.
18. Provide technical insights to management regarding environmental and aviation sustainability practices.
19. Participate in sustainability forums or working groups as a company representative to support sustainability initiatives.
Education
Work Experience
Other Qualification
- Understanding of aviation operations, carbon markets, SAF strategy, and environmental economics.
- Proficiency in Thai and English (both written and spoken).
- Direct experience in the aviation industry or managing CORSIA/EU ETS standards will be considered an advantage.
TOEIC
Minimum 550 score or above.
Certificate
Preferred Certifications: Training in carbon management, ESG reporting, or aviation sustainability.
