Job Purpose (Accountability)

• To perform non–destructive testing of metallic and non metallic parts of aircraft structure and aircraft components to identify internal and external structure defects (corrosion, cracks …) and other imperfections that could affect their performance and reliability in requirement of aircraft maintenance schedule inspection and component maintenance manual follow the appropriate approved procedure aircraft manufacture, component manual and standard Non Destructive Testing manual.

Duties / Responsibilities

1. Perform non–destructive testing of aircraft structure, aircraft component, engine during aircraft Schedule and unscheduled maintenance and component on work shop.

2. NDT Technician is responsible for executing the tests using the procedures and methods to determine maximum quality of the product.

3. NDT Technician is responsible for inspecting duties, organizes and generates reports pertaining to inspection and evaluation and to prepare and document bof reports on all testing and evaluations done.

4. NDT Technician is responsible for ensuring that the equipments used for testing are all functioning to its maximum and according to safety regulations and responsible for endorsing the equipments to repair.

'5. Select, calibrate, or operate equipment used in the non-destructive testing (NDT) of products or materials

6. Maintain required job skills, Maintain validation of personal certification in Non-Destructive Testing at all time and knowledge of requirements accordding to Non-Destructive Testing Procedure.  

7. Perform non–destructive testing of customer aircraft when assign by company.

8. Practical training for staffs who completed training for NDT inspection in class room to accumulate working experience to certify staff of NDT special work.

9. Certify aircraft parts and components for which results of testing are acceptable in accordance to Non-Destructive Testing Manual.    

10. Maintain the test equipment, tools, calibration blocks and other relevant equipment valid calibration.

11. Maintain validation of personal certification in Non-Destructive Testing at all time.

12. Maintain work shop clean, and meet the requirement in according to Non-Destructive Testing Procedure

13. Management personal in command line. And apply security policies to work into action to prevent harm to worker.

• English TOEIC Score 400 type Personal
• ET,UT, MT, PT Certification are a plus (EN1479)
• NDT Level I and II Certification prefered (EN1479)
