Job Purpose
Manage and maintain daily flight schedules on the basis of On-Time Performance (OTP) and coordinate with related persons to ensure that flight services are completed and safe, including complying with IOSA, IATA, CAAT regulations, company policies and procedures.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure that flights operate efficiently, on-time performance and safety, such as coordinating with Airport Authority to arrange the aircraft parking location and boarding gate and announce daily aircraft termination to pilots and all concerned departments, including special cases such as special request assistance from Flight Crew and Pilot and Alert ground personnel at alternate destination airports for possible aircraft diversion to provide prompt assistance and service to passenger and crew for quick turnaround whenever weather at Departure Airport including Destination Airport and Alternate Airport are marginal.
- Input and recheck all data in Operations Control System (Flight Movement time record , number of passenger and amount of fuel onboard), as well as transmitting aircraft movement messages for PG and/or Codeshare flight and customer airline’s flights.
- Prepare and announce Turn Schedule Report(TSR) to all concerned departments.
- Monitor and edit all rejected EDP messages relating to flight movement to ensure that status in systems for used of relevant agencies.
- Monitor and record aircraft flight movement for the whole traffic program in to the Communication Log and keep file for three month to compile with standard and keep data for inspection and audit.
- Monitor EOBT (Estimated Off Block Time) and CTOT (Calculated Take Off Time) and cooperate with Air Traffic Services.
- Input and manage information regarding to ACDM (Airport Collaborative Decision Making).
- Maintain and monitor VHF/HF/DATALINK ACARS MESSAGES including Flight Monitoring System (belonging company system), Flight Information Display System (FIDS), Weather Information Display System (WIDS) and other communication facilities in Operations Control Center , network stations and online stations at all time including irregularities. In order to ensure updated information for operating the flights, for planning and estimating flight departure and landing time in the most efficient and smooth manner.
- Plan and manage daily flight schedule in the most efficient and cost-effective based mainly on safety concerns, as well as summarize and analyze flight information and record into Operations Control System.
- Notify concerning departments immediately when there is changes or adjustments in flight departure and landing time, while monitoring aircraft status and arranging aircraft replacement in case of technical problems or unserviceable.
- Investigate and define delayed code for any delays occurred and record all information found for CRM determine reimbursements for passengers and any other offices/departments for further proceeding.
- Recheck and confirm flight schedule of the next day, submit the information and schedule through Flight Information Management System (FIMS) to Suvarnabhumi Airport Authority for further announcement to passengers.
- Submit aircraft slot time with Slot Coordinator in each country to request, follow-up, and ensure that Slot Time Approval has been granted to operate the flight.
- Submit flight permission with The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand in each country to request, follow-up, and ensure that Flight Permissions has been granted to operate the flight.
Duties / Responsibilities (Additional)
- Cooperate with other relevant departments increase or reduce on the day of operation based on the normal flight schedule.

- Liaise with Yield and Inventory Management Division for coordinating additional flight due to an increasing number of passengers.
- Cooperate with Yield and Inventory Management Division and Ground Duty Manager for cancelling flight due to technical problems of the aircraft.
- Liaise with Charter Flight Division for arranging AD-HOC flight such as; Med-Evac Flight and Charter Flight.
- Cooperate with Technical Department for arranging Test Flight after maintenance or reparation, and Ferry Flight for dispatching unserviceable/broken aircraft.
- Cooperate with Crew Control Division for supporting flight crews to the above mentioned flights.
- Ensure aircraft tracking / monitoring capability and notify appropriate ATS when the aircraft cannot be tracking position. (Applicable for certified by FOO licenses)
- Report to Flight Safety Division in case of Aircraft Incident or Accident, and report to Aviation Security Division in case of Hijack or Bomb Threatening - referring to suggestions in the Crisis and Emergency Response manual. (Applicable for certified by FOO licenses)
- Initiate emergency response action in accordance with company policy. (Applicable for certified by FOO licenses)
- Carry out all concerned duties regarding Safety, Security and Emergency required by company.
Education
Bachelor Degree in Related Fields
Work Experience
No experience required.
TOEIC
Minimum 550 score or above.
License
Having a valid FOO (Flight Operations Officer) License will be an advantage.
